How LucentWave reviews products

A useful comparison should explain what was checked, where the information came from and what remains uncertain. LucentWave separates vendor-published facts from editorial interpretation.

1. Evidence we use

Vendor documentation: Official product pages, pricing pages, plan tables, help documentation and affiliate-program terms are the primary sources for features, limits and commercial conditions.

Independent evidence: Independent tests or reviews may be used when they disclose a method, test date, configuration and relevant limitations. A vendor marketing claim is not an independent test.

First-party site data: Search Console, analytics or server data should only be described as first-party evidence when it is actually available and the site owner has authorized its use.

2. How we assess product fit

For SEO software, we examine the jobs a product supports: keyword research, competitor analysis, backlinks, rank tracking, technical crawling, content optimization and WordPress on-page management.

For hosting, we examine the service model, plan resources, website count, storage, backups, support, staging, billing term, renewal price and upgrade path.

We do not force all products into one ranking when they solve different problems.

3. Pricing checks

Every public price snapshot should show the date checked and the billing context. Where possible, we distinguish the monthly equivalent, upfront amount, introductory term and renewal rate. Prices may vary by region, currency, tax and promotion. Readers should confirm the checkout total.

4. Testing and performance claims

A page is not described as hands-on tested unless a documented test was actually performed. A speed test must state the plan, server region, test location, page, cache configuration, test tool and date. Uptime or support-response claims require a defined observation period and method.

5. Affiliate relationships

Affiliate commissions do not determine product inclusion, comparison conclusions or editorial recommendations. Affiliate links are used only after the owner has an approved personal tracking URL. Application pages are not tracking links.

6. Updates and corrections

We review material pricing and plan changes before publication and when a vendor changes its offer. Readers can report a correction to support@lucentwave.tech. Include the page URL, disputed statement, supporting source and date checked.

7. Limits of this methodology

A research-led review is not the same as a full independent laboratory test. Vendor features and plan limits can change. Where evidence is incomplete, we label the gap instead of inventing a result.
